What is their style of music?
The worship style at FCFC is contemporary, fresh and uplifting. You will enjoy the energy as well as the variety of the gifted worship team. One thing that sets them apart is their obvious sincerity and transparency. It is obvious that they worship with a servant attitude born out of a personal relationship with God. Many people define the music style as “Contemporary Worship Music” which simply means music that honors God, is relevant to our daily lives, and easily remembered so that a lifestyle of worship can be continued through the week.
Should I bring a Bible?
If you would like to bring your Bible, by all means YES! Bring your Bible. You are always encouraged to open the Bible and read it for yourself as you listen to the speaker. The passages from the Bible are also projected on the screen overhead, so if you do not have a Bible or do not want to bring it, we provide the means for you to follow along as we read.
What type of clothes is acceptable?
Please, “come as you are.” You do not have to be “dressed up” to attend FCFC. We know that it is what is on the inside that counts, not on the outside. Come seeking God and fellowship with His people, and dress accordingly, but be assured that you will never be judged for what you wear at FCFC.
Should I pay something and how much?
You are never asked to pay to come to church! We want to bless you, and everything we have to offer is free to you. Yes, it is true that the ongoing operation of FCFC is funded by gifts and offerings collected during service, but you are never compelled to contribute, nor will you be embarrassed if you choose not. On the other hand, we will certainly accept any gift you wish to give with deepest gratitude.
Is someone going to make me introduce myself?
The answer is… “Maybe”. Perhaps someone who is sitting close to your chair might introduce themselves to you and initiate an informal conversation. However: Relax – You will never be put on the spot in front of the entire church! We would ask that you visit our welcome table when you first arrive so that we can have a record of your visit, and give you a free gift. Yet even this is voluntary. Most of all, we want you to be comfortable to get to know us… take it as slowly as you want!
What signs will there be to look for when I enter the parking lot?
For the Warrenton Campus:
When you first pull in, you’ll turn immediately to your right and follow the yellow cone path around accordingly. You will then quickly see the parking lot attendants available to help direct you to open parking spots. Church Service starts promptly at 10:30 am and the upper parking lot starts getting full around 10:15 am. There is a lower gravel lot for overflow parking.
For the Wentzville Campus:
Parking is available for all. Find an available parking spot and you will see the main entrance clearly from the parking lot area.
Where are the restrooms?
For the Warrenton Campus:
The restrooms are directly on your right as soon as you enter the main entrance that faces the highway. Another area for restrooms is down the hall from the “Holy Grounds Coffee Bar” located in the main foyer. Signs are located up above the doorways down the hall areas. If you do not find them right away, simply ask and someone will be happy to point you in the right direction.
For the Wentzville Campus:
As you enter the main doorways, directly in front of you across the lobby is a hallway with signage leading to the nursery area. The restrooms are to the right side of the hall before you reach the nursery area.
Will I be able to bring my kids in with me?
You are encouraged to bring your entire family with you to either location, and that includes your children. We have fun classes for all ages, as well as a comfortable nursery for infants. Your children will be warmly welcomed by our friendly staff and teachers, and will feel safe and encouraged while they engage in fun learning activities. All of our children’s staff and teachers have been screened and background checked, so you know they are safe. If for any reason you do not want to be separated from your children on your first visit, there is a section of the auditorium, at the Warrenton Campus only, reserved for families with young children so that they can attend the service with you.
Will anyone care I’m there?
You are sure to feel welcome as soon as you come in the door. We are always excited when we have new visitors, and hopefully you will feel personally welcomed. When you first enter the foyer, you will be directed to the welcome table where you will be given a gift bag, including information about the church and a coupon for a free visit to our coffee bar for your entire party. Be sure to visit the information counter for more information. We welcome any comments, questions, concerns or prayer requests if you feel comfortable sharing with us. But as delighted as we might be, most importantly we hope you understand how much God cares about you, about where you are and what you are going through. If there is ever anything we can do for you please contact the church office. See right side panel for the office location phone number nearest you.
