Celebrate Recovery

by FCFC

Celebrate RecoveryCelebrate Recovery is A Christ-Centered Recovery Program

At Celebrate Recovery you will experience a safe place to find freedom from life’s hurts, habits and hang ups everySunday 6 – 8:30 pm. Your children, ages infant to 12, will attend Celebration Station for their age appropriate lessons, games and crafts. Don’t put if off any longer. There is total anonymity and confidentiality on Sunday evenings.  The only people who know you are there are the people attending themselves. Quickly become a part of the recovering family by making that excellent decision for yourself and your family to start your journey of recovery this week. We will meet you at the door and help you get your children to Celebration Station and you into a comfortable seat. See you this Sunday at 6 pm.

Assembly & Open Share Groups Sunday 6 – 8 pm
Fellowship Meal 1st Sunday of each Month at 5 pm

New Step Studies for both Men & Women will begin soon!

Step Studies are held on a different night of the week working through 4 in-depth journal booklets that help your delve deeper into the issues you face on a day to day basis. This is where the healing really begins as you answer the questions in your booklet and come to the Step Study meeting ready to discuss 1-2 questions with the others in your group.  It takes about 2-3 months to complete each booklet and you only need the first booklet to get started.  Your first step is to attend the weekly Assembly and Open Share Groups and an announcement will be made about the New Step Studies starting.

The Most Important Thing to Remember!

Make an excellent decision for yourself and your family to get started. Then don’t stop coming for any reason or situation that comes up.  Realize the minute you make that ‘excellent’ decision you will be tested, tempted and distracted with every conceivable option out there.  Make up your mind nothing will detour you from this journey of HOPE to change your life forever. You can do it.

Once you get started you will meet so many other people who may not have the exact same circumstance as you but are struggling the same way you are with their own issues.  The Celebrate Recovery family at FCFC is just that – a family!  We’re a family who care about each other and will stand by you during those difficult challenges.  However, we can’t make the ‘excellent’ decision for you.  The decision to start and continue your recovery (healing) journey is yours alone to make.  We care about you – so make your ‘excellent’ decision today and we’ll see you this Sunday!

Now listen to this encouraging song picked out just for you to hear today:

Celebrate Recovery CAN:

  • Provide you a safe place to share your experiences, strengths, and hopes with others who are also going through a Christ-centered recovery.
  • Provide you with a leader who has gone through a similar hurt, hang-up or habit and who will facilitate the groups as it focuses on a particular Step each week. The leader will also follow Celebrate Recovery’s “Guidelines.”
  • Provide you with the opportunity to find an Accountability Partner or a Sponsor.
  • Encourage you to attend other recovery meetings held throughout the week.

 Celebrate Recovery Will NOT:

  • Attempt to offer any professional advice. Our leaders are not counselors. At your request, we can provide you with a list of approved counseling referrals.
  • Allow its members to attempt to “fix” one another.
